In the fashion world, fashion week is one of the most exciting events on the calendar, and SA fashion week is set to take the fashion world by storm this October. With Cruz set to return as the event’s sponsor, this year promises bigger and better in every aspect after unveiling a new venue in Melrose Arch.

“Since its inception, SAFW has been instrumental in championing the business of ethical fashion in South Africa and empowering emerging creatives. Cruz Vodka, like SAFW, supports local talent and fosters the growth of all who strive to “Make it Anywhere,” says the SA Fashion Week website

The Cruz opening party will be kicking things off and setting the mood for designers, models and everyone in between. Fashion A-listers from every corner will be partying the night away, before getting into the business that brought them to the Melrose Arch.

This year, Cruz has highlighted three designers who will be making an impression on the fashion world by showcasing their versatile collections. With 13 shows set to take place over three days, attendees can expect approximately 40 exhilarating shows that cater to styles of all kinds.

Thabo Makhethe

Popular for their distinctive patterns that are inspired by the Basotho culture, Thabo is bringing something different this year with the Dikeledi collection. The collection features two versatile garments designed to transfer, transform, and transcend into more than ten distinct looks, showcasing Makhetha’s innovative approach to fashion design.
