Businessman Nicky van der Walt, the husband of former Miss South Africa finalist Lee-Ann Liebenberg, has found himself at the centre of the law following recent arrests at his restaurant, Tang, located in Sandton.
It was reported by The South African that several employees, including a manager, were taken into custody for allegedly working without the required permits and the inspectors also revealed that they were also looking for the owners so that they too could be apprehended for hiring undocumented people.
SowetanLIVE reported that the Gauteng chief inspector Michael Msiza stated, “We have arrested four people at the Tang restaurant plus the manager. They [employees] didn’t have proper documents.”
