Springboks coach Rassie Erasmus recently revealed that one of his players and fan favourite, Makazole Mapimpi, would not only be a father but was indeed a husband too.

Mapimpi had become a fan favourite just like the rest of his team, where internet users commented on his inquisitive style and good looks. However, the recent revelation made by his coach has not only shocked internet users but caused them to become private investigators in search of his wife’s identity.

According to news publication, TshisaLIVE, in the Chasing the Sun documentary, Rassie stated that during the 2019 Rugby World Cup when players were asked to provide pictures of their family, Mapimpi only had pictures of himself as he didn’t have any surviving family members given that his grandmother raised him after his parent’s passing.

As per reports by news publication, The South African, the alleged wife is content creator Sasha De Sousa, who recently posted pictures of her maternity shoot with the caption:

“A blessing straight from God, children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Psalms‬ ‭127‬:‭3‬-‭4‬.”
