It seems the controversy surrounding award-winning content creator Mihlali Ndamase and ex-lover Leeroy Sidambe has been re-ignited, as the influencer has made damning accusations against her former lover during a heated Instagram live session.

A controversy between two lovers that started with infidelity has reached an unimaginable level, after an incident that occurred at Leeroy’s house, which led to claims and accusations of physical assault from both parties. This was then followed by an open letter issued by Mihlali, detailing her toxic and abusive relationship with Leeroy, to which Leeroy responded with a statement of his own. In the statement, Leeroy denied the claims made by his ex-lover, while simultaneously accusing her of taking ‘substances which cannot be named’ as well as abusing him physically.

In the most recent development, during a live session, Mihlali was visibly upset, claiming that she wants Leeroy to explain to the masses exactly which substance she uses, as per Leeroy’s accusations, then calling him an ‘after 9’ and a ‘double adaptor’ which are slang words associated with homophobia

Mihlali accuses Leeroy if being homosexual after fighting for him, doing drugs for him& almost stabbing kids for him.

She’s going through that phase of pick meism when she realises she’s nothing special.

She’s an empty woman for real!

In a surprising turn of events, internet users were not pleased with Mihlai’s comments, stating that her homophobic mentality was not acceptable. Many users believe that the content creator’s actions were a result of hurt and betrayal, and she was therefore seeking a way to embarrass her former lover.

While some users believe that she is not acting from a place of hurt, rather she is merely a homophobic person with malicious intent.

Mihlali’s queerphobia isn’t a stage of grief or realisation. It is a disregard and de-humanisation of non-cisheterosexual people.
‘Outing’ people is queerphobic. Exposing someone’s sexual identity to people who are likely to act on that information with violence, IS hatred.
