‘We will build RDP houses in Orania,’ details Julius Malema

Economic Freedom Fighter’s Chief In Command Julius Malema, has promised the people of the Northern Cape RDP houses in the small Afrikaner town located on the banks of the Orange River, Orania, as soon as the EFF steps into power.

This speech was delivered to a crowd of EFF followers who came to the party’s 11th Anniversary Rally, in the Northern Cape.

Orania is a small town exclusively made up of a population of Afrikaners whose aim is to preserve and grow their Afrikaans culture, language and identity.

As this is an Afrikaans population town, it came as a shock to see one EFF vote during the national election results held in May.

Promising the Northern Cape EFF followers a piece of Orania during his speech, Julius said:

“EFF is formed to restore the dignity of our people, that’s why we said when we were formed 11 years ago. We said the ANC is going to die a natural death and that death we are witnessing today in the Northern Cap where the ANC is below 50% because of you the fighter’s of the EFF.”

He further added, “Zamani Saul (Premier of the Northern Cape) today is breathing through the wound because he knows he’s got no total control of the Northern Cape.”

Describing the kind of leader the premier is the CIC shared, “Zamani Saul is a traitor and a sell-out that’s why he went to Freedom Front Plus and told them he’ll give them Orania so that it can be for Afrikaners alone. He’ll never see that, it will never happen, Orania belongs to us.”

Promising his followers and the people of Northern Cape a piece of Orania, he detailed, “Comrades when we take over Northern Cape and take over South Africa we are going to build RDP houses in Orania and send our people to go and stay in Orania.”
