Siphenkosi Nqoro is an inspiring man from the Eastern Cape who became an admitted attorney after working as a petrol attendant.

He did not let his circumstances and challenges keep him from reaching his goal and his admission as an attorney proved that adversity can be overcome and dreams do come true.

He shared his journey with Netbuzz Africa detailing what it took for him to get here:

“I knew I would have to juggle my studies and work, so I had to talk to my work supervisor. He was glad to hear that I’ll be attending university full-time, and he gave me permission to pursue the degree.”

“I used to work the night shift, bathe and prepare for school, and then be expected to go to work again, but the garage staff was quite flexible. Sometimes I would approach my superiors and ask them to adapt my schedule, and they would do it gracefully,” Siphenkosi said.

Netbuzz Africa further stated that he attended the University of Fort Hare in 2016, pursuing a LLB degree. He finally graduated in 2021, wrote his bar exams in 2023 and was sworn in as the attorney of Makhanda High Court in the Eastern Cape in July 2024.

Facebook users shared their congratulatory messages on the platform:

One user commented: “Your story serves as a powerful reminder that with determination, dreams can indeed become reality. Wishing you continued success in your legal career.”

Another user shared: “Congratulations brother, a very inspirational message and example to us that nothing is impossible! God bless.”

Another user said: “Perseverance. A job well done. Congratulations.”
