Popularly known for his role as Suffocate on Rythm City, actor Mduduzi Mabaso will be joining a different e.tv show, ‘House of Zwide‘. This comes shortly after the news of Vusi Kunene’s departure from the show surfaced.

Mduduzi had previously starred as Prince Andile on BET Africa’s Queendom. This was until the drama series had to be halted due to issues of non-payment of staff by Clive Morris Productions.

The actor shared a teaser of himself in the show on his Instagram, joined by his fellow castmate Wanda Zuma who plays Nkosi Zwide on the show. “Don’t tell. Do and move silently. Let your work do the talking,” captions the actor on his Instagram post.

The teaser had the people talking as Mduduzi’s character made a dramatic entrance, dressed in all black, taking a seat on Funani’s chair. It has everyone wondering about his character and what his intentions are.

Some are speculating that his character might be there to take over for Funani after he stepped down as CEO. While some believe that Vusi Kunene will make a return to the legendary Generations: The Legacy. However, this has not been confirmed as yet.

Mduduzi’s supporters and viewers have rushed to comment about their excitement to see Mduduzi on their screens again after his stellar performance of Queendom.

“Can’t wait to see him on the screen of HOZ. Hope to see that gangster side of him,” comments a supporter on Facebook.
