South African award-winning rapper Lehlogonolo Mataboge, professionally known as A-Reece is expecting his first child with his girlfriend of six years, Rickelle Jones.
The rapper whose fans had coined the nickname ‘Baby Boy’ for him, due to his child-like facial features, announced the joyous news via a joint post with Rickelle on Instagram. The announcement came through a set of heartwarming pictures of the couple, showing off Rickelle’s baby bump.

His fans are debating on a more appropriate nickname to give him, as ‘Baby Boy’ is no longer a good fit for him as he prepares for his journey into parenthood.
“We can’t even call you Baby Boy anymore smh,” says one user under the announcement post.
Well wishes and messages of support and congratulations flooded the couple’s comments section as their friends, family and supporters helped the couple celebrate the upcoming arrival of their child. The couple have not revealed or alluded to the gender of the child as yet, however, a healthy, bouncing baby will surely suffice for the couple.
Although a majority of internet users showed immense support for the artist and his partner, some did not hold back with the negativity. Some users compared him to fellow rapper Nasty C, stating that A-Reece is trying to be like Nasty, as he also recently had a baby with his long-term girlfriend Ntombizodwa Sibanyoni, who is more popularly known as Sammy Heavens.
