The saying boys will always be boys is depicted in this TikTok video as internet users react to a group of schoolboys lifting a teacher’s car in the parking lot.

TikTok creator @rhulani.radebe posted a video of his friends playing a prank on their high school teacher by pushing their car to the side. In the video, the car in question is a Kia where these Grade 12 boys used their strength to lift it. This video also caused a hilarious reaction on the app as users laughed telling their stories of what students have done to their cars.

In some schools in South Africa, learners would usually have 40 days that happens before their final exams where they play various funny pranks on other students and as well as teachers. This ritual was made as a way for learners to enjoy their last moments as school children.

The creator posted the video with the caption, “These matric boys are such menaces.”

Taking to the comment section TikTok users said:

One user asked why the alarm never went on when the car was being lifted.

Another user assumed that the boys were rugby players given how strong they were.

Another user shared that her learners once placed her car’s number plate upside down and she only realised after a week.

One user said: “Bruh I remember in my year all the matric boys, carried the car of a teacher we used to hate the cricket pitch.”
