Somizi and Shauwn living the LV life: Mzansi not impressed, warns SARS could come knocking again

by Staff Bona
South African media personalities and businesspeople Somizi Mhlongo and Shauwn Mkhize caught flak for showing off their large inventory of Louis Vuitton luggage pieces.
The flamboyant pair known for their penchant for the finer things in life posed in a video surrounded by luxury branded travel bags and netizens went in for the kill. According to MDNnews, these bags cost millions.

Interestingly enough, reality TV star Shauwn, also known as Mam’Mkhize had ANOTHER controversial encounter with the taxman. SARS is allegedly owed more than R37 million in back taxes by the proprietor of the Royal AM soccer team, according to iAfrica.com.
Recently investigative reporters from the popular news program Carte Blanche interviewed her about her criminal offenses. She refused to go into details about these cases. Shauwn is a convicted fraudster and in 2012 she was disqualified from running a business, IOL reported.
Socialite Somizi too is no stranger to owing SARS and in 2022, some of his furniture was auctioned to recoup the R3.5 million debt he owed, The Citizen reported.
The repo men seized kitchenware and even high-value art, according to The South African.
Coincidentally he turned for advice to his friend Shawn in an episode of his show Living The Dream With Somizi.
