WATCH: Gospel singer Sbu Noah turns groove to a church serenading groovists

If you thought that the gospel could not be preached at a groove, you’d better think again, as Joyous Celebration lead singer Sbu Noah took to the stage at a groove, to praise the lord in song, getting many groovists to sing with him.

Sbu shared a video of himself taking to the centre stage at a groove to serenade his groovist followers with a gospel hymn in what looks like a booked event, as the stage setup suggested so.

The singer who is popular for his humour on the social media platform Instagram might have started in a group setup, which he is still a part of, but, he went on to make a successful solo career giving us hits such as Ewe Getsemane and many more.

Capturing his groove video performance, the gospel star left many internet users in stitches noting:

Angithi anisezi enkonzweni; kuthiwa angizonilanda ke (Since you guys don’t come to church anymore, I’ve been instructed to come fetch you). Ngiyaxolisa (I am sorry) if you said you’re going to visit ugogo kanti uya emjayvweni nakhu sengiveza kuleVideo (your granny while going to the groove, now I’m showing you on this video).

Singing Oh Msindisi, groovists both on the lower and upper floor of the double-story joint chanted, looking like they were enjoying themselves.

Internet users were amused by the video, taking time to write in the comment section:

“Revolutionary, the essence of what the gospel is about!!!”

One user wrote, “I love this so much, this is where I always believe the Word should be preached.”

“This for me speaks volumes, keep doing this Sbu you will see God’s favour beyond what you thought was possible,” said another user.
