Dlala Thukzin launches ‘SoundLand’ festival Durban July after-party experience

Thuthuka Zindlovu, also known as Dlala Thukzin, is on the brink of a major career milestone.

With Durban gearing up to host the highly anticipated horse racing extravaganza, the Hollywoodbets Durban July, a series of events are set to commemorate the occasion. Dlala Thukzin recently unveiled his own Durban July music festival “SoundLand”.

According to reports, this comes after the success of the sold-out “Dlala Thukzin Weekend” held at the Durban Amphitheatre late last year.

Taking to Instagram, the DJ shared his excitement with a post written, “Fresh from the womb! Dlala Thukzin is bringing to life, the start of a new era, SoundLand! The official 1st Installment of The Hollywood Bets Durban July After-Party.”

Set to take place on the 6 July 2024, at Kings Park Main Outerfields  the event promises a thrilling lineup featuring well known artists like Oscar Mbo, Kabza De Small, Simmy, Zee Nxumalo, Dj Bongz, and Blxkie.

In 2023, Dlala Thukzin released “iPlan” a standout track. The song quickly became a hit, getting over a million streams on Spotify within two weeks.

It went on to win Song of the Year on Gagasi FM and achieved double platinum certification. “iPlan” continued its success by topping both local and international charts.
