Friendship is a beautiful thing, it should be a relationship where you feel comfortable, are always happy, and of course, have people to support you always.

While many of us are used to the idea of women surprising one another with beautiful gifts for their friend’s soon-to-be-born babies, it is extremely rare to think about something similar happening to dads.

A TikTok video that was posted by @advocate_bae received a lot of interaction as many people were impressed by it. In the video, we see male friends coming into a yard through a red carpet whilst they all had gifts. They announced that they were hosting a daddy shower for their friend who was going to have a newborn.

The video was captioned, ” We showed up for our boy’s daddy shower.”

TikTokers flooded the comment section as they applauded the guys for a thoughtful gesture, “I just love seeing black men supporting each other. Well done gents!”

“This is a proper nappy braai well dressed and I also my type thanks,” wrote another user.

One user shared, “I remember I wanted to do this and one of my friends said ‘ke ngwana wa hao eseng WA Rona ntate’ (it is you who is going to have a child, not us).”

“I guess I will never see this because I had a kid too early. My friends are still studying,” trolled another user.

Another one said, “I’m sure their WhatsApp group was not complicated they agreed on something and kept it moving.”
