Internet reacts to a woman proposing marriage to her boyfriend

Pictures of a woman kneeling with one knee asking for her boyfriend’s hand in marriage made it to social media platform X (formerly know as Twitter), creating a lot of conversation among social media users.

The proposal which was was clearly planned took place in a location that had beautiful beach and mountains views.

In the one photo, the lady who wore a dark green suit can be seen kneeling on one knee while holding her man’s hand.

The pictures were posted by local publication MDN News on the app, with the caption:

“She proposed and he said YES..”

After the post was shared by the popular publication, many internet users shared contrasting views with some seeing the lady’s proposal as a beautiful thing, while some felt women should not to propose to men as in most African cultures there’s lobola (dowry) to be paid which needs a man to be financially ready for the responsibility.
