During a broadcast of one of the episodes of the Podcast and Chill hosted by MacGyver “MacG” Mukwevho, Solomzi “Sol” Phenduka and “Ghost Lady”, the team touched on a few things, including who they thought might be the highest-paid radio broadcaster in South Africa.

MacG was the first to say who he thought was the highest paid, naming radio broadcaster and television producer Anele Mdoda as the person in the number one spot in terms of salary.

The team soon debated between besties Anele and Sizwe Dhlomo with them confused at who might be more than the other.

Starting the conversation, MacG noted:

“The highest paid radio broadcaster right now has to be Anele. That station would crumble without Anele.”

Sol shared the same sentiments, adding, “That station is a money-making machine, 947 is a World-Wide money-making machine.”

MacG later asked if the team thinks Sizwe earns more than the Anele and the Club show host?

Sol responded saying that he thinks Sizwe is making a lot, adding that he’s not doing it for money, “Sizwe does not need the money, trust me he just does it for fun and he does it because he loves it.”

He also shared that he doesn’t really know who earns more between the two besties.

This episode was followed by a live episode where SABC owned Lesedi FM broadcaster Ba2Cada revealed that he earns R180 000 a month.
