As her album release date approaches, Grammy winner Tyla shared the official track list of her upcoming project.

Born Tyla Seethal, the Johannesburg-born beauty has taken the world by storm with her hit song Water. Social media users and music fans have also been jamming to the singer’s song Truth or Dare which was previously announced as one of the tracks on her self-titled album.

In November last year, Tyla shared the cover art and a few songs including the above-mentioned, already on the market, for her latest album.

“I’ve been working on my sound for two years now and I’m so ready for the world to hear it. I cannot wait for the world to experience an African popstar,” wrote Tyla, who is set to drop her album on Friday, 22 March.

Now, the songstress is sharing the rest of the song titles (including her 2022 song, To Last).

On top of the list, Tyla shared that she is still including a piece of home into her music as an international star as Sowetan deejay Kelvin Momo will be featured on the album’s intro.

Other global artists featured include Tems, Gunna, Skillibeng, Becky G and Travis Scott, who has already been named on the remix of Water.

Tygers – the name used for Tyla’s fans – flooded the comment section with excitement.

One person wrote, “She said Kelvin Momo is her favourite South African musician, she got him on the album. She said she love Tems, she got her on the album. Becky G and Travis Scott also blessed the album. Tyla is gone. Amapiano is taking over.”

Another person commented, “The collabs are so brilliant and strategic! She is crossing over into so many demos and markets with these features! (K-pop, Latin, hip hop, and also solidifying African roots). She really is aiming to be a global star. I’m here for it. I see the big picture Tyla, girl.”
