When we count South Africa’s celebrity couples who inspire many for their hard work, and dedication to their love and relationship, businesswoman and former Miss South Africa Basetsana and her CEO husband Romeo Kumalo are likely to be on the list.
The couple recently celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary and 26 years since they started dating. They are blessed with a beautiful family and enjoy a life many South Africans wish for.
Taking some time to express love to her husband on his birthday recently, the mother of three detailed a very warm message to her husband whom she calls the “father of the tribe.”
She shared:
“Loving you is the easiest thing. Watching you raise your children into decent human beings is beautiful to witness. You are our anchor, our protector, our strength when we are weak, our safe place.”
She also noted some of her husband’s strengths adding:
“Thank you for providing for us so we lack for nothing. Doing this thing called life with you is a blessing. You are dependable, you are consistent and you are kind.”
Making sure to thank him for loving her the right way, Bassie noted:
“Thank you for taking a chance on me and loving me hard. Happy birthday my love, #FatheroftheTribe my smile keeper. May you live long, happy, healthy and strong on earth. Growing old with you is one of the most fulfilling parts of my life journey. I love you Mntungwa. We love you Papa.”
