Lerato Kganyago details she was forced to disclose her miscarriage

by Bongiwe Mati

Radio show host and businesswoman Lerato Kganyago recently shared the news of her pregnancy loss on her social media, a pain she is still dealing with. The sad news was shared in a few posts, on the media personality’s social media platform Instagram, with Lerato showing gratitude to her parents, friends and colleagues for their support.

The Flutter Lashes and Pads brand owner has had a few miscarriages before this recent one, with her sharing that she was hopeful this time around. The last time Lerato shared a pregnancy loss was in 2021 after internet users noticed that she was showing signs of being pregnant.

Recently, in her stories, she detailed.

“On the 12th, my incredible gynae broke the news. I’m much better than last week, my parents have been next to me and have carried me! Thank you to those who have been checking on me. I was so hopeful.”

Sharing the reason why she told internet users about her loss on her social media recently, the award-winning deejay detailed:

“I had not been planning to share what happened, but it saddens me that some people saw it fit to disclose what doesn’t need to appear in the public real. As a result, I was forced to divulge something I am still finding a way to make peace with. Thank you for the calls and messages, your love and support has been incredibly comforting.”
