Kgolo Mthembu shares another reason for wife Annie’s RHODurban departure

Businessman and self-proclaimed guru Kgolo ‘Da Guru’ Mthembu has come out to reveal another reason why his wife, Annie Mthembu, would not return to the hit, local show, The Real Housewives of Durban.

During the time of the release of the Showmax reality show’s fourth season’s trailer, Annie took to social media to announce why she had to “sit this season out.”

“I needed a mental health break, some time for reflection and also to focus on my businesses which have been growing in the background, and this time around needed me to be more present to assist with their growth,” said the former reality star.

While speaking to Sunday World, Kgolo spoke about the allegations made against him that he did not pay staff and artists who performed at his Durban-based establishments. He also revealed that people have stolen a lot of money from his clubs.

“Last year my club was robbed of R750,000 and I asked my employees questions about how this happened, only to learn later that one of them or a group of them came into the club with a speed point from another business and swapped it with my club’s speed point and stole money.”

As a result of his dire financial situation, Kgolo stated that Annie had to pull out of the show which she has been on since its first season.

“My wife will go back to The Real Housewives of Durban when she’s ready. She is now committed to other business errands that need her undivided attention,” said Kgolo to the above-mentioned publication.
