‘I knew he was the one for me, because he was persistent’ –  Tamia on husband Andile Mpisane

by Sergio Miller

Andile Mpisane is living proof that if you invest enough effort, there is definitely a great chance that you will one day marry the woman of your dreams.

The Royal AM chairman, alongside his wife, social media influencer, and model Tamia have been one of Mzansi’s biggest power couples in recent years. The two share more than just their mutual love for one another and their children, but also a lot of common passions and a desire to attain great success in their personal lives.

While followers cannot get enough of their romance and extravagant holidays on social media, Tamia recently revealed that they nearly did not end up together.

The mother of two recently made her highly anticipated appearance on season two of her mother-in-law’s reality show Kwa Mam’Mkhize.

In her introduction to the show, she revealed that she was not entirely keen on being in a relationship with Andile but credits his perseverance as the deciding factor in why she has given him a chance.

“My name is Tamia Mpisane, and I am married to Andile Mpisane. I met Andile through a mutual friend in December 2019. I knew he was the one for me because he was so persistent,” she said on the episode.

“I did not want him, but he was so persistent, I was like, ‘Actually, I think I like him,” she continued.

Fast forward to 2024, and their relationship is closer than ever.
