Thuso Mbedu joins cast of Mark Ruffalo-led HBO crime drama series

Super talent actress Thuso Mbedu’s star keeps shining brighter every day.

The Pietermaritzburg born Woman King actress recently announced that she has joined the cast of Mark Ruffalo-led HBO crime drama series.

Reported by Hollywood premier news source Deadline, Thuso is set to play Aleah, a sergeant detective who is recruited for Tom’s task force.

The news source explains that the series is set in a suburb outside Philadelphia and is centered around an FBI agent who leads a task force. “His goal is to put an end to a string of drug-house robberies led by an unsuspecting family man. The Untitled Task Force project is based on an original idea by the creator of Mare of Easttown, Brad Ingelsby,” shares the news source.

Announcing the news on her social media, The Underground Railroad star captioned her post:

“Things to look forward to ??‍♀️.”
