After experiencing marital problems in the public eye, estranged couple Mongezi Mahlangu, better known as the comedian Tol A$$ Mo, and Mome Mahlangu have officially confirmed that they are now back together.

Appearing on DJ Fresh’s podcast (WAW! What A Week with DJ Fresh) earlier this year, Tol A$$ Mo announced that he and Mome were separating and in the process of filing for divorce. Sharing that they grew apart, the funnyman also mentioned he had no desire to marry a black woman again, adding that Mome was not the reason for his decision but rather the trauma he experienced from the rape allegations from model Lerato Moloi that he was later acquitted for.

Both Mo and Mome took to Instagram to share their reunion.

Mo wrote, “We have had so many up and downs, but love conquers all. I’m so blessed to have you back in my life. I’m truly grateful for God’s mercy upon our marriage. Till death do us part forever and always, love you.”

Posting a similar picture, Mome stated in her caption, “Forgiveness comes when you stop visiting the past, especially when you know what you had to go through, when you stop allowing yourself to visit the past. Each time you replay what happened in your mind, you [are] giving it life instead of allowing the pain to ease for the broken part of you to heal.”

She concluded, “The disappointment will fade, what was done is done but what you can do is rewrite your story, take those LESSONS and turn them into your GREATEST blessings by turning your WOUNDS into WISDOM and STRENGTH, turn your PAIN into POWER for your life. I love you @tolassmothegamer.”
