Eating without having to worry about weight gain is a luxury many of us do not have. This leads to people having a love-hate relationship with food and picking up unhealthy eating habits all because of wanting to maintain the number we see on the scale.

While many gate keep the secrets to maintaining a fixed body weight throughout, we are here to bring you a list of foods that you can enjoy without having to worry about witnessing the number on your bathroom scale increase.

Weight loss and weight gain are issues many of us are struggling with, however, to maintain your ideal weight and maintain a healthy relationship with food, Health Shots – a website dedicated to women’s health- states that there are several healthy foods you can consume without having to calculate calories or feel guilty about eating.

According to Insider – an American online media company – these foods are loaded with water and are low in calories which means they keep you full for longer. These fruits and vegetables do not contain starch which means you can enjoy them in portions that satisfy you and not the number that appears on the scale. Do note that if you have a surplus of these foods over a period of time then you will start experiencing weight gain. Health Shots – a website dedicated to women’s health – has named a few foods you can consume without worrying about weight gain.

Here is a list of those foods:

Oranges: not only are these low in calories but they also play a crucial role in the production of collagen. Insider explains that  these fruits aid towards keeping your cholesterol and blood sugar levels low.

Vegetables: for those who struggle with bowel movement and would appreciate eating foods that maintain their blood sugar levels then this is the food for you.

Watermelon: consisting mostly of water, Health Shots shares that this fruit has benefits that aid in our digestion and it helps burn calories.

Strawberries: rich in potassium and fiber, these tiny fruits are sodium free and cholesterol free and because of these benefits, Health Shot states they come beneficial for the heart.

Peanut butter: this yummy treat is high in protein and low in carbs. As stated by Health Shots this treat can help you “lose weight without compromising on taste” as it helps one to control their appetite and produces a less desire to eat in those who consume it before meals.
