Zahara grateful for the blessings on 36th birthday

by Sergio Miller

After a difficult couple of years well known South African singer,  Bulelwa “Zahara” Mkutukana, is finally finding herself in a good place in both her life and career.

The talented singer had to endure a lot of hardship over the last three years.

In 2021 her sister sadly died in car accident while driving home from work on the N2 in East London.

In 2022 her house was broken into and many of her awards and trophies were stolen.

She then also landed herself in the hot seat after failing to pay the installments of her Roodepoort home, which with the assistance of donations by her fans she was able to keep.

Despite all of the heartache and misery, in true South African spirit the musician was able to lift herself up and in doing so become more than a conqueror.

The singer recently celebrated her 36th birthday and thanked all her nearest and dearest friends and family for their support throughout her journey.

In an Instagram post she said that she is now celebrating 36 years of God’s grace, mercy, and kindness. And thanked her most devoted fans for sticking by her side.

“To my beautiful family, friends, fans, and the Zahara Army worldwide, ndiyabulela kakhulu for your love. You guys have supported me through the highest heights and lowest of lows ?.

“To God who called me and keeps me in perfect peace, all glory to Him ?? . To many more years ???,” she ended.

Meanwhile, as a clear indication that she is ready to take the industry by storm again, the Afro-soul singer has also began dipping her toes into South Africa’s popular genre, amapiano with her latest song Guqa Ngedolo.
