The final episode of the reality show Mnakwethu aired on Thursday October 5th at 20h00, leaving many social media astonished.

The show which ran a successful third season is based on the lives of polygamists who had asked polygamist Musa Mthombeni to speak to their wives on their behalf for permission to take more wives.

After Qondanisa, Mphahlele and Dulas were allowed by their wives to take the wives they had initially asked for in the first season, the men have shown interest in adding more.

The third season brought a lot of drama, it revealed through a DNA test that Samantha’s baby was not her husband polygamist Qondanisa’s child.  It was also revealed on the show that Qondanisa had impregnated his wife Samantha’s aunt.

After watching the last episode that also saw violence erupt when Mamhlongo attacked Dulas at the launch of her car wash, social media users shared their views on X (former Twitter).

They shared:

1 thing this show #MnakwethuHappilyEverAfter has taught me is that Men Love their women crazy??Qondanisa can’t do right by MaZwide and his “biological” child but wants to fix things with Samantha
And Dulas naye, the crazy GF gets a car wash & the respectful wife dololo ?

Mara these men are not fit to handle polygamy- look at their two rooms. How is it possible to have four wives in a cramped space? They just promoting for women to kill one another. #MnakwethuHappilyEverAfter

If a man was hitting a woman the way Carol hits Mphahlela the show would be cancelled. They shouldn’t be showing this clips it’s really not nice seeing a person being abused.#MnakwethuHappilyEverAfter

Mphahlele is a broke man pretending to be rich. I’ve never seen a bank manager living in a place like that. I don’t even wanna mention his sthembu with girlfriends not wives. Worse they disrespect him because he disrespects himself #MnakwethuHappilyEverAfter
