Celebrities who flew to NYC to support Black Coffee’s show

It is just a day before Nkosinathi “Black Coffee” Maphumulo is set to headline his show at New York’s Madison Square Garden, on a show that will also see many South African musicians share a stage with him.

Located between 31st and 33rd street on both 7th and 8th avenues in Manhattan’s West side, The Garden as it is affectionately called is the World’s Most Famous Arena.

Dubbed the nation’s “coolest” venue by the New York Post, The Garden has headlined big artists such as Beyonce, Elvis Presley, Usher, the Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder, Taylor Swift and many more.

On his event poster, Black Coffee mentioned the Major League DJZ as event supporters, with special appearances from some of the artists that he has featured in his songs, artists such as Bucie, Monique Bingham, Msaki and many more.

As it is getting closer to Saturday October 7th, South African celebrities headed to the Big Apple for the big event.

Following is a list of celebrities who travelled to the city that never sleeps for the big show, sharing pictures of themselves in New York.

1. Mondli Ngcobo

The producer and multi hit maker shared photos of his departure, arrival and a video of the event rehearsal.

The Inkanyezi hitmaker followed with a post in New York capturing it:

2. Oscar “Oskido” Mdlongwa

Oskido shared:

“Celebrating @realblackcoffee Foundation & @mercedesbenzsa for their new partnership to uplift disadvantaged families ??. Don’t forget BG WKD IN NEW YORK ?? for SA dance music ???. 3. Cassper Nyovest

The 018 hitmaker shared a photo of his first Emirates flight seat and later shared a video of himself in a boat cruise and another one partying in Dubai. He did however share on his Instagram stories flight emojis, capturing them:

“Can’t wait to see the boys live at the Garden.”

4. Mnqobi “Shoba_warrior” Mabe

The producer and singer who is also among the big night’s performances shared a picture of his rehearsal at The Brooklyn Mirage.
