Cyan Boujee shares her honest review of Uncle Waffles Burger

South African musician Cyan Boujee is one of the few people in Mzansi who appears to genuinely enjoy KFC’s Uncle Waffles Burger.

Earlier this month, Uncle Waffles and KFC announced that they would be bringing the limited edition burger back, and that it would now be available across more cities nationwide.

“The wait is over. South Africa’s most exclusive burger has dropped. Get it through Street Culture across all major cities,” she said at the time.

However, the hype around the burger has not gone down very well. Many people rushed to KFC to try it out. Many people shared negative reviews, with one food influencer deciding to review the meal herself. But after taking one bit, it would appear she couldn’t stomach the meal and immediately spat it out on camera, The South African reported.

Not to be swayed by any outside views, Cyan Boujee decided to try the burger for herself. She posted a video to her TikTok where she gave an honest review of the burger.

“The waffle is a bit hard but the taste is good. It’s sweet but it goes well with the cheese and the chicken, I’m not even pretending guys. It’s just so big. You just have to eat it like a sphatlo. But it’s good,” she said in the video.

The comments section still had some doubters, with some praising her for giving her own opinion on the burger while others still felt that it was not good, saying the flavour combo and textures were weird.
