R&B music lovers will be conflicted this September, as international R&B superstar Maxwell, Anthony Hamilton and Freddie Jackson will be performing in different parts of the country on the same day.
R&B sensation Maxwell will be performing at this year’s 10th anniversary of the DStv Delicious food and music festival in Kyalami, Johannesburg on September 24.
The music festival will commence from Saturday, the 23rd of September to Sunday the 24th. On Saturday, performers such as Zakes Bantwini, Tems, Morda, Robert Glasper, Arrested Development, DJ Lamiez, Oscar Mbo, Ringo Madlingozi, Karyendasoul and DJ Kent will be entertaining the crowds.
On Sunday, 24 September, international superstar Maxwell, Oskido, Joyous Celebration, Shalamar, DJ Christos, Incognito, Greg (The Musical Maestro) and the G Force will set alight the stage.
Sharing a video of Maxwell’s performance announcement, the DStv Delicious Festival captioned its post:
“We’re just weeks away from the festival, and the excitement is soaring! Turn up the volume and listen to Grammy Award-winning multi-platinum artist @maxwell, one of the voices that’ll give you chills, on this year’s stage on September 24th at Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit.”
In the video, the Pretty Wings hitmaker shared:
“Hello South Africa, its Maxwell here and I’m looking forward to performing for you all live on September 24th at the DStv Delicious International food and music festival. It’s the festival’s 10th anniversary edition at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit over Heritage weekend, so make sure to get your tickets at ticketsmaster.com, and I cannot wait to see you soon.”
Tickets for the show start from R950 each for a general ticket, with the Terrace Lounge ticket going at R3 900 and the Injabulo Luxury Suite – at R7 300 each.
