Idols SA contestant dead at 35

Season 12 Idols SA contestant Terra Cox was found dead at 35 in his home on Sunday, 27 August.

According to The Citizen, his death was announced by Alton Zakay Music in a statement: “It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tersius Eathon Kocks known as Terra Cox. We want to express our sincere condolences.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. We hope that they find peace and comfort during this difficult time of bereavement. We will share more details on how we will commemorate and celebrate the life of a great brother, artist, and friend,” the label said.

Idols SA and Mzansi Magic paid tribute to the late singer, saddened by his untimely passing. According to The South Africa, the cause of his death has not yet been revealed to the public.
