Vusi Nova is soon to release a new single called Sozendixole featuring the award winning trio 047 from the Eastern Cape.

The multi award Asiphelelanga hitmaker will be releasing his new collaboration on Spring day, September 1, gearing his music lovers for the festive season.

Sharing a video post of himself while the song played in the background, Vusi lowered the music volume to share the following:

“This song says Sozendixole (I will never be at peace), and I feel like as a nation, as people we are going through a lot. The one thing that I will never heal from is my mother’s passing, and also just how she passed on. I will never be at peace with that. Then I ask myself, is it ok to feel that way, is that now all of a sudden an issue that I need to deal with internally? So I’m asking you what is that one thing that you will never get over? What is it? What is your story?”

He then captioned his video post:

“So my moms passing is what inspired this song. I’m very keen to hear your story. What is that 1 thing ongasoze uxole ngayo? By the way, song drops 1 September. #sozendixole #therapytalk #therapywithvusi # 1September. #sozendixole #therapytalk #therapywithvusi #vusinova.”

This led to a lot of painful stories being shared from social media users, with Vusi responding to some.

Users shared:

“Ex husband killed 3 of our babies, only to impregnate 2of my friends. That led to 6minor strokes and 7th I was paralysed from neck down.. I haven’t even scratch the surface. I have an internal bleeding eye as I text. We all have battle scars. But with each day, we march through. You’ll never heal, you’ll learn to breath through your pain. Just don’t loose yourself to it though️.”

“My husband lost his mind when his mom passed . One of the most difficult year ever . Never seen anyone go through so much pain . His mom passed on my birthday.”

“My son’s passing at the age of 23yrs, 4months ago. I really don’t know how to handle this pain. I need to be strong for his brothers, but inside the pain is unbearable. Zange ndabuva ubuhlungu obunje (I’ve never felt so much pain).”

Vusi also note in the comment section:

“Reading all your stories and my heart goes out to each and everyone one of you.”
