Actress Pearl Thusi recently opened up about her grieving process after the loss of her friend rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes who was shot dead outside a restaurant in Durban on February 10, alongside his friend and celebrity chef Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane.

Taking to her Instagram stories, the Queen Sono actress captioned an emotional post on her IG story.

Although she is undoubtedly hurt by AKA’s death, she is however grateful for the good times spent with the Super Mega.

“Ready to focus on the happier times now. Losing you cut me deeper than I realised. Rest easy homie. I miss you. Thank you for the good times and the tricky (LOL).

She continued: “Can’t turn back the clock. But we can make every second spent with you count. You lived freely and honestly, even when it made no sense to the rest of us. There’ll never be another like you. You made this life worth living. A masterpiece.”
