Kelly Khumalo fires back at Tweeps over cancel culture

Twitter users who have been following the Senzo Meyiwa case have shared their frustration after testimonial from state witness Colonel Lambertus Steyn brought a different opinion on some of the fatal night’s occurrences. Lambertus’s testimonial also pointed out contradiction in some of the evidence shared by witness Zandile Khumalo.

The Colonel shared in a court testimonial that a sim-swap was conducted on Senzo Meyiwa’s sim card the day after he was killed and later placed in another device. He also added that there were eight calls between Kelly’s number, and a number belonging to David Mathebula.

Zandi had testified in court that Senzo’s phone was found in the kitchen after his murder, a testimony which allegedly does not corroborate the cellphone ping from the cellphone tower inside the hospital, according to Lambertus. He also added that Senzo’s phone rang while he was in hospital after being shot.

Frustrated about all the contradictions and new-surfacing evidence, Twitter users called for the talented singer to be cancelled.

They shared:

Can Kelly Khumalo be canceled on our national TV and gigs??? Uyadelela losisi
