Tony Forbes, the father of the late rapper Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes who was gunned down in Durban earlier this year, took to his Instagram to show love and appreciation for rapper Refiloe ‘Cassper Nyovest’ Phoolo.

Cassper and the late AKA had the longest “beef” in Mzansi’s rap scenes which ended up in a slap in one rapper’s face and diss tracks of each other released by the two rappers. Speaking to L-Tido on his podcast, Cassper admitted that their “beef’ had no basis and that AKA’s diss track Composure made him angry at everyone who was involved in its making, including his friend Anatii.

Sharing a photo of himself with his arm around Cassper’s shoulder, Tony captioned his post:

“Respect…you came in our darkest moment. Thank you. We remember…away from the cameras. God bless.
P.S. When you signing them papers. I told you I will take you ?.”

Social media users were amazed at how the Forbes family was so loving and embracing, adding:

“This family is full of love. All I’ve been witnessing after AKA is nothing but love and no drama. I so wish our black fellas can learn a thing or two. GOD continue watching over this family but we still want justice for AKA. SA justice system is a joke.”

“Can the Forbes family adopt me? This family is on levels. The love is something else in this household ❤️❤️❤️??.”

“The way your family loves people ? You guys are such a blessing, literally walking out what Jesus would do??.”

“The Forbes family never seize to amaze me. God lives in this family.!!❤️.”
