Anele Mdoda’s father, businessman Patilizwe ‘Pat’ Mdoda and his family presented the community of Tsolo with an Early Childhood Development Center that he built for his community.

Anele had previously shared her father’s unfinished school project on her social media, adding that they were pleased to support him as a family, and thanking a few sponsors who came onboard to help realise the dream.

The dream finally became a reality yesterday as Patilizwe gave back to the community in a massive way by officially opening the school that he built in the same land he schooled at, many decades ago.

Taking to her social media accounts, Anele shared on Twitter:

“I am so proud of my dad. On the same ground he attended school in a hut, he has built an Early Childhood Development Center ku Tsolo. Stellar MC work from Zizo Tshwete????????.”

Anele also appreciated other members of her family, adding a moving post about her older uncle, who sacrificed going to school allowing her father to be the one to go, as he knew that Patilizwe would “make sure everyone was taken care of.”

She shared:

“Tatomdala. The Head of the Mdoda family. He told his parents who could only pay for one child to study that it is my dad that must be sent to study further as my dad showed a lot of promise. He said he knows my dad will make sure everyone is taken care of. So today he sees a seed he threw into the wind 50 years ago… grow into a massive tree. Jambase.”
