Lynn Forbes, the mother of slain rapper AKA, showed that the love she has for her late son is everlasting. She vowed to keep his legacy alive after his untimely death.

Lynn took to her Instagram account to share the following:

“This world was not enough for you. You fulfilled your purpose and left your mark. There is nothing left for me to do but to preserve your legacy, the masterpiece that you have already built. It’s a complete work of art and it will live on forever in its own right, without me. I will honour you and preserve your memory, to the best of my ability, for the rest of my life. ???.”

Lynn’s post received plenty of love from her followers.

“He’ll always be a super mega❤️❤️,” commented one Instagram user.

“It feels like a dream, we lost a legend here. His memory and creativity will always be remembered,” wrote another.

While another follower admitted, “We miss him too ???????… Even Twitter is not the same without Mega.”

It is evident that Lynn is preserving AKA’s legacy through her relationship with his daughter, her granddaughter, Kairo Forbes. The two share a special bond for all to see.

For Kairo’s eighth birthday, her first birthday without her father, the duo took on New York City, visiting the Museum of Ice Cream and many more exciting places.

After receiving birthday wishes, flowers, balloons and a book highlighting the little star, Kairo thanked the Megacy (AKA’s fanbase) for making her birthday “super special.”
