Media personality Pearl Thusi has once again been criticised for images of herself. This time, the criticism involves her picture with the late musician Mampintsha’s grave.

Pearl was previously criticised over the semi-nude images she posted back in June.

Born Mandla Maphumulo, the award-winning record producer died a day before Christmas in 2022 after suffering a stroke.

Mampintsha’s widow Babes Wodumo posted the image of Pearl and her late husband’s grave on Twitter. Showing love to Pearl, Babes captioned the image, “Thank you for uzobona uMashimane @PearlThusi.”

Although Babes had no problem with how Pearl was pictured next to the grave, many tweeps did.

“Seriously???” asked one tweep.

Commenting on Pearl’s dress code, another tweep wondered, “I thought women must enter the cemetery wearing a skirt or wrap your waist with a towel or blanket if wearing pants.”

“I love Pearl [Thusi] but this is wrong,” commented another.

Another tweeted, “Ihlazo elingaka!!! Akuwona amaZulu angempela lawa. Niyabukisa ngehlazo nina ma celebrity (What an embarrassment!!! Those are not real Zulus. You celebrities like showing off shameful things).
