Babes Wodumo reportedly very sick

South African musician Babes Wodumo has been reportedly hospitalised and is allegedly in critical condition.

Since the passing of her husband Mampintsha, Babes Wodumo’s supporters have expressed concern for her wellbeing. The star’s fans alleged that she had dropped weight noticeably and appeared ill. 

The musician is reportedly battling a severe illness. It was revealed that she collapsed in her home on Friday and was rushed to a hospital in Durban.

It was reported to the Daily Sun that the Gqom queen had allegedly ignored her health after the death of her spouse Mampintsha, who passed away on December 24th, 2022, following a stroke.

According to the Daily Sun, Babes Wodumo whose real name Bongekile Mildred Simelane has been allegedly suffering from depression and exhaustion, the publication further reported that the Wololo hitmaker has been missing gigs due to her alleged critical condition.

The star’s fans and followers flooded social media with messages of support and prayers. 

One social media user wrote: “It was too much for her …. She tried to act strong but yeah life is really life sometimes …. Just worried more about the poor little man (Spounge).”

“Shame her child is still very young, he needs his Mom. Hope she gets well soon,” another social media user wrote. 

A fan wrote: “God is with you babies wodumo…you have not healed and accept to have lost your sole mate my prayers are with you…mzansi let’s pray for her.”
