A video of Sonia Booth dancing made it’s rounds on Twitter and the reaction was pretty laughable.

On the 3 July, Sonia Booth took to Instagram and shared a video of herself dancing and said she had attended an event for the Marula Cheesecake Passion Liqueur launch, according to the South African.

Upon seeing the video, one blogger screen-grabbed the clip and decided to share it on Twitter. After the video was shared on Twitter, many started poking fun at her and mocking her dance moves.

The businesswoman and former Miss South Africa runner-up displayed photos from her most recent marula liqueur launch, which took place at Meli Lounge in Pimville. The event was well-attended, and Sonia was delighted with the results. She made the decision to share a video of herself taking centre stage on the dance floor with her Instagram followers in order to show them just how much fun the event was. She claimed that she and her guests danced till the early hours of the morning.

However, after seeing the video, social media fans shared their displeasure with both her dancing abilities and appearance, saying that she didn’t appear to be the same person they were used to seeing. Sonia captioned a photo on her Instagram with the phrase “busting local comedian David Kau’s dance moves.”

Musa Khawula, a controversial blogger, decided to share the video on Twitter.  Many Twitter users were confused by the video. One user said that her dance moves were “not giving”.

“She fell off shame. She looks nothing like her former self. And she probably doesn’t have enough black friends to advise her, black women are experts at looking gorgeous after divorce,” one user commented on the tweet.

It’s not giving hey. I don’t know whether it’s the song, the dancer or both but something is offish nyana. pic.twitter.com/Mx88cY3Z3e
