South African award-winning actress Thuso Mbedu has been taking the world by storm! From attending international fashion shows to being the global representative of well-established brands, Thuso’s star remains on the rise.

1. Becoming the new face of the Gris Dior Collective
On 1 April, Thuso and Dior Beauty made no jokes when it was shared that the actress had become the latest member to represent the R5665 fragrance.
The Instagram caption read, “Introducing Thuso Mbedu, a new member of the #GrisDior Collective. She’s the true incarnation of the sensual, brave and powerful signature of Gris Dior.”

2. Bagging a L’Oreal deal and being their brand ambassador and spokesperson for Sub-Saharan Africa
Thuso scored another brand deal when she partnered with L’Oreal. A statement made by the brand read, “We are thrilled to announce the talented South African actress @Thuso.Mbedu as a new brand ambassador and spokesperson for L’Oréal Paris in the Sub-Saharan Africa region.

3. Attending the Cannes Film Festival
The Cannes Film Festival is a prestigious international film festival held on the French Rivera. The event exudes Hollywood excellence above all things.
Thuso was one of the many respected attendees who dazzled at the international event. On the red carpet, Thuso shone in an Elie Saab dress and Chopard jewels.

4. Attended the Louis Vuitton Fashion Show with A-listers
Speaking of Louis Vuitton and Nicolas Ghesquière, Thuso was also fortunate to attend the brand’s fashion show held on the island of Isola Bella in Lake Maggiore, Italy.
Thuso was joined by many stars, including Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, Ava DuVernay, Cate Blanchett, Emma Stone, Jaden Smith and couple Jennifer Connelly and Paul Bettany, among other guests.
