Fans of The Real Housewives of Durban were at first skeptical about KwaZulu-Natal-born TV personality Mthokozisi ‘MaBlerh’ Cele hosting the show’s season 3 reunion. But to their surprise, MaBlerh proved his worth as host and got the job done.

The praise and adoration came after the teaser trailers of part 2 of the reunion was released.

The teaser trailers revealed that MaBlerh was in no way taking anyone’s side, shooting questions straight from the hip.

In another teaser of the reunion, the host can be seen questioning Housewife Sorisha Naidoo, who many thought MaBlerh was too soft on. He is heard asking Sorisha, “Some people in this group have said worse things than what Sane [Bhengu] has said about Annie [Mthembu]. What are those worse things? I have been watching since season 1. I just wanna know, what are those worse things?”

The question must have put Sorisha on the spot, as she replied, “I can’t think of it now.”

Another fan of the show said, “@MaBlerh is the truth. To be able to draw so many apologies and make them realise how they behaved us truly a skill.”

I’ve always not been able to watch the whole reunion because it just becomes women tearing each other apart in the most vindictive ways. @MaBlerh is the truth. To be able to draw so many apologies and make them realise how they behaved us truly a skill. #RHODurbanReunion
