Musician Nomcebo Zikode’s legal battle with record label Open Mic Productions has reportedly come to an end, and the pair are said to be working on a new project together.

The feud between the singer and the controversial record label began after the Grammy award winner ‘s song titled “Bayethe” was removed from Spotify.

The song features Zakes Bantwini and Wouter Kellerman won a Grammy early this year in the category for “Best Global Music Performance.”

According to ZiMoja, the musician and the record label have reportedly settled their long lasting feud and are reportedly working on their differences. A source told the publication that Nomcebo and Open Mic are already working on a new project.

“They are in the process of resolving their differences. It has been a long and winding road but they have been good since January this year,” an insider told the publication.

“They are in the process of releasing a project and then they will part ways amicably.”

The publication also reported that the project the singer and the record label is working on, is set to release in June this year.

“The case is still pending, however, and they need to reach an agreement,” the insider added while speaking to the publication.

The Jerusalema vocalist is yet to respond to the claims mentioned above however, she, however, continues to raise the South African flag high despite the ongoing drama with her record label as she recently received an award for Top Entertainer, by Forbes Women Africa.
