Set to release July this year, Greta Gerwig’s upcoming Barbie movie has everyone excited.

Ever since the announcement of the movie, people have been eagerly anticipating its release.

The plot of the movie is a modern take on the iconic doll’s story, where Barbie finds herself expelled from Barbieland and embarks on a journey of self-discovery.

What has everyone particularly excited about this film is its talented ensemble cast. The lead role of Barbie will be played by Academy Award nominee Margot Robbie, known for her performances in films like I, Tonya and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Other cast members include, Ryan Gosling, Michael Cera, Issa Rae, and many other familiar faces.

Greta, who made a name for herself with critically acclaimed films like Lady Bird and Little Women, is both writing and directing the movie. Her style of storytelling is expected to bring a fresh perspective to the character of Barbie and make her more relatable to audiences.
