Connie Ferguson wishes late husband a happy birthday

Actress Connie Ferguson took to social media to wish late husband, Shona Ferguson a happy heavenly birthday.

Shona would have celebrated his 49th birthday.

According to IOL, Connie’s sister Atosie Pilane stated that the veteran actor had died from COVID19-related complications on 30 July 2021.

The former Generations star captioned her Instagram post, “21 months without you physically here and it still feels unreal. Happy heavenly birthday to you my LOVE, the coolest dude I have ever known!????? We miss you so much! Today we are celebrating you for all that you were and still are; a LEGEND!?. Continue resting my KING.? It is well.??❤️.”

She included the hashtags, “#49 #shonafergusonday #theSHOgoeson #liveloveleavealegacy?❤️.”

Connie’s post received love from both celebrities and fans.

Many celebs, including DJ Zinhle and Sbahle Mpisane, sent heart emojis.

Environmentalist Catherine Constantinides said, “We thinking of you and praying for you special human. God’s grace always. ??.”

One Instagram user commented, “One thing about Mr Sho is, he would laugh wholeheartedly from the deepest parts of his heart, you could tell his laughter could fill the room and lighten everyone and everything within range. May his soul continue to rest in peace.”

Another user also commented on the late actors laugh. “❤️?You will meet him again one day my Sis, he was a real soul mate to you. So relaxed, I like that ne le bua Setswana (you spoke seTswana) most of the time, so real and great memories, he was a happy man, his laughter was from the heart.”
