Yesterday seemed to have been an emotional day for Lasizwe who shared with his followers that he missed his late parents.

Lasizwe tweeted, “Woke up with the biggest lump in my throat. The fact that I am doing this life alone without any living parents, Yoh! (Wow) What’s killing me is I can’t even pick up the phone and say “I am calling my mom!”

Woke up with the biggest lump in my throat. The fact that I am doing this life alone without any living parents, Yoh! ?

What’s killing me is I can’t even pick up the phone and say “I am calling my mom!”

Lasizwe lost his mother in 2016 at the tender age of 18, followed by his dad in 2020.

Speaking of his mothers death in a 2018 interview with Trending SA, Lasizwe shared how he witnessed his mother’s departure.

He said, “As the guy was cutting my hair, my mom, who I could see in the mirror, just collapsed. I was like, ‘oh my word, my mom can’t do this, because this was not the first time she’d collapsed in front of me’. So I ran to her, I tried to turn her body so I could give her CPR.”

Lasizwe, who shares a father with Khanyi Mbau, was left in a numb state when he later lost his father in 2020.

He shared with his followers, “My last alive parent, my dad has passed on. I am numb and so confused! I am shattered!! first my mom now my dad! I don’t know how to feel!!! Like how does one say “My parents are deceased! like I don’t have no parents no more. Like they dead’

Yesterday twitter users sent him lots of love asking him to be patient with the healing process.

One user wrote, “Strength to you Lasizwe. God’s grace has your back, ALWAYS. Life gets really hard once both parents are gone. Sometimes kuyehla (there’s downs), sometimes kuyenyuka (there’s ups) but never loose heart. Lots of love & hugs from me.”
