Lerato Nxumalo joins Scandal

Durban Gen actress Lerato Nxumalo joins e.tv’s prime-time telenovela Scandal!.

The Lingashoni actress will be playing the character of Phakamile Mdletshe, the elder sister of Nqobile played by Zekhatho Zondi. 

Lerato got her big break on Durban Gen and made her first appearance on Scandal! on Monday.

She also took to her Instagram timeline to announce the exciting news with her fans capturing the post saying: 

“Happy to announce that tonight I make my debut on @officialetvscandal as PHAKAMILE MDLETSHE , she’s fiery, she’s strong and will stop at nothing to provide for her siblings.”

Many her fans were excited for her as they flooded her comment section with congratulatory messages.

Actress Kwanele Mthethwa took to Lerato’s comment section to congratulate her: “Congratulations my baby, I am so proud of youuu!!! Can’t wait.”

“Congratulations my darling, I know you’ll eat it up,” wrote a fan.

Actress Nelisiwe Faith Sibiya also took to her former collages’c comment section to congratulate her saying: “Oh my baby. Congratulations,” she wrote.

The KwaZulu-Natal-born actress who got her big break on Durban Gen as the beautiful and focused medical intern, Dr Luthuli.
