Sjava and Big Zulu’s collaboration single dab gold

Big Zulu and Sjava’s collaboration single dabbed gold in less than two weeks since the release of their debut single Umbayimbayi. 

The new song is the lead single to their upcoming collaborative album, “Ukhamba,” which is set to be released in May.

The song has already topped streaming charts, including the #1 spot on the Spotify South Africa Top 50 chart and #1 on the Apple South Africa Top Songs chart.

Taking to his Instagram timeline the South African musician Siyabonga Nene, better known as Big Zulu celebrated the big win, he thanked everyone for their support saying:

 “Siyabonga kakhulu Umbayimbayi usushaye iGold?Siyabonga kakhulu @inkabizezwe,” he wrote.

Umbayimbayi also topped Radio Monitor’s RAMS Chart, which is a chart that shows the biggest songs on South African radio during a period of a given time.

On Apple Music, Umbayimbayi holds the #1 position on the Top 25 Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town, as well as the Top 100 South Africa Chart.

Umbayimbayi  is also currently the number 1 trending sound, with over 1.2 million views in 10 days on YouTube.

His partner Sjava also took to his Instagram page to share the good news with his followers saying: “Siyabonga.”

Many of their fans and industry mate flooded their comment section with congratulatory message while waiting in anticipation for their collaborative album, “Ukhamba.” 

“Kade ngiyilalelele nje manje emotweni….. ayi what you guys have done, can never be undone,” wrote a fan.
