by Unathi Balele

The singer is known for publicly celebrating her Women Crush Wednesday (WCW), shouting out and recognising woman who are doing great. She has done things slightly different this Wednesday, making herself the WCW for this week and rightfully so.

Taking to Instagram, she shared stunning photos of herself and captioned them with beautiful words, saying that she is crushable.

“I’m an entire vibe and I’m crushable.Welcome to MY WEDNESDAY when I crush on myself. Second slide ? I was telling all the bosses at @oldmutualsa to EXFOLIATE their feet before their trip to Greece before they hit the beaches. BANGASIHLEBISI ngama European ??.”

In shouting out herself she also decided to crush on Mamdlamini and added a photo of them hugging in the last slide of the post.

“Last slide the INCREDIBLE CEO ‘Madlamini’ as we affectionately call her whom I am crushing on today ALSOOOOOO ♥️ #WCW” she wrote.

The radio host also recently sat down with broadcaster Gareth Cliff in a newly launched show called UnCancelled With Gareth Cliff.

Unathi spoke openly about the main reasons why she was fired from Kaya 959 in 2021, after an alleged argument with a colleague.

Uncancelled, launched by Gareth Cliff and Eugene Khoza, is designed to engage and provoke debate.

In the interview, Unathi recalled how she found out she had been fired while working on music with Prince Kaybee during a ten-day getaway. The pair had booked a house to work from, along with a group of instrumentalists, when she not only got the call but saw the public statement issued by the radio station just minutes after she had been informed about her dismissal.
