Uncle Waffles, Major League DJz, DBN Gogo and others to perform at Afro Nations in Miami

The Afro Nations is here! And South Africa will be fully represented on the lineup of Afro Nation US 2023.

The Afrobeats Nation is known as the “world’s biggest” Afrobeats Festival which is set to take place in Miami Florida. 

According to Variety the Afrobeats festival will be held in the U.S. for the first time. The Afrobeats focuses on music in a form of a festival. The two-day event, dubbed “the world’s biggest Afrobeats festival,” will be headlined by Nigerian singer and songwriter Burna Boy and Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known as Wizkid, who is also a Nigerian singer and songwriter, at LoanDepot Park on May 27 and 28.

SA’s local musicians on the lineup are Amapiano artists such as Uncle Waffles, Major League DJz, Focalistic, Kelvin Momo,Virgo Deep, TxC, DBN Gogo, and Musa Keys.

While although many are excited for the Afrobeats festival others left some criticisms while questioning the legitimacy of the post saying:

“Watch half these artists not be there, & Wizkid isn’t going to show up until everyone is back in the TSA line.” said one users.

Another user wrote: ” Are sure about Wizkid, considering he just rescheduled his entire concert?” asked a fan.

“Are you sure this is going to happen, because y’all keep canceling the events I’m hesitant to even entertain this,” ask a fan.
