Actress and TV host Denise Zimba has voiced her opinion regarding South Africa and the quality of life in the country.

Denise joined many South African celebs who have voiced their thoughts regarding South Africa’s economic state and quality of life.

The actress took to her Twitter timeline where she expressed that the quality of life in the country has dropped.

“South Africa weighs heavy on my heart. One of the most beautiful countries in the world — the food, weather, people, diverse cultures, parties, experience. I don’t understand how we have fallen so bad. The quality of life is horrendous! People are suffering, hustling day to day,” she tweeted.

There were mixed reactions regarding the actress’s tweet while others agreed with the TV host and others simply did not agree with the actress.

Here is what tweeps had to say:

We are really suffering. I mean a degree can’t get you a job in this country

Whiles other people are looking into issues of loadshedding, crime, GBV etc the state of health care is collapsing ? State hospitals are in bad shape. Only a few are still standing ☹️

You need to understand that there’s time for everything under the sun. Even Babylon, 1 of the wealthiest greatest cities to have ever emerged on ? fell and never rose again “as it was said”. SA collapsed way back , it’s only now that the cracks are starting to emerge .

Not too long ago SA rapper Cassper Nyovest also voiced his take in South Africa’s economic state.

“I’m going through it myself. It’s tough man. Like I feel only the billionaires are living soft because jo ya kena ya tswa. Everything is just expensive. Water, electricity, food, petrol, security, rent, tax, etc,” he tweeted.

He added he was “not making enough money.”

South African actress Linda Mtoba also weighed in on her opinion by saying:

“Load-shedding, pot holes, parks badly or rather not maintained at all, roads not maintained, some have no markings. We all just driving.

“And to add to my list, jaywalking. But this goes back to poor planning by government by having no walkways. If there is they’re also badly maintained so people don’t walk there but rather walk on the road,” tweeted Linda.
