Actress and television presenter Stephanie Ndlovu along with her husband Hungani Ndlovu who is also an actor opened up about  intimacy after their first child.

Taking to their YouTube channel titled “The Ndlov’s Uncut” the couple, who are first time parents, spoke about the changes in their lives after welcoming their first child together last August.

Stephanie stated that she got to a point where she did not want to get intimate after giving birth to their child via C-section.

“I went from physically looking in a certain type of way and feeling a type of way to.. after having a baby, I just didn’t feel sexy, and I didn’t feel like I want to necessarily be touched or for you to even give me attention because I was like, ‘Oh my gosh I had a C-section.’ I just didn’t feel like myself,” she said.

Her hubby Hungani added that seeing his wife go through that phase also affected him.

“So I personally don’t think that there is one or more that is affected than the other because either one being affected affects us both.”

The actor Hungani also revealed that he did not know how to help his wife navigate their new normal.

“I was trying to assist in you finding yourself or feeling better about yourself etc, etc which is a duo thing.. So I think for me the biggest thing was trying to help but not really knowing how to help,” he said.

He also revealed that while trying to assist his wife he did not really process how the whole journey made him feel.
